Facebook Portal

This pop-up event for the launch of Facebook Portal turned a empty event space into a finished home. The challenges for this event versus other large sets was the level of sound dampening required.

Subflooring was required to protect the marble tile of the event space and also serve as way anchor the set flooring to. It was important that this went down as fast as possible so I devised a plan utilizing as few pre-cut sections as possible and a layout for the other sections.

This page gives an insight into the number of set flats required. The client was updating the floor plan as we progressed and it was important to have communication with the fabrication team to keep up with inventory.
